hope you got a permit for siding as it is required. This case has gone national through canadiancontractor.ca.

No one in Canada is going to buy your house if you didn't get a permit. I suggest you contact building services immediately while they are still sympathetic to customers who got duped.

Well Pissed consumer, since these folks claim to be sooo satisfied you would think that they would be inviting people to come look at the beautiful work. Ergo probably fake.

Stupid idiot gave a name of a customer claiming they were happy and when I called his bluff, this person was not happy and is going to the local MP to state he used their name without consent. The only full names you will find on this site are his relatives names. He uses his in-laws names because, well, they aren't Murray's. He even went so far as to use his mother-in-law's maiden name on one post.

Dave you have no idea how much public information is out their on the internet. You are sooooo screwed.

How do we know the person who posted this is real. Maybe David the owner posted it, It's just like him when you look up his multiple business names and phone numbers at least one of them he gives himself 5 stars

Sorry anonymous... apparently youโ€™re going to be served for speaking your mind against a deadbeat...

so I guess you have nothing to worry about.

David Murray couldnโ€™t afford a lawyer so youโ€™re good to go. Speak your mind.

To You the anonymous!Govern yourself accordingly!SimpleLearn the basics of slander and libel -- the rules about who can say what without getting into legal hot water.By Emily Doskow, Attorney"Defamation of character" is a catch-all term for any statement that hurts someone's reputation. Written defamation is called "libel," while spoken defamation is called "slander." Defamation is not a crime, but it is a "tort" (a civil wrong, rather than a criminal wrong).

A person who has been defamed can sue the person who did the defaming for damages. The other party isDefamation law tries to balance competing interests: On the one hand, people should not ruin others' lives by telling lies about them; but on the other hand, people should be able to speak freely without fear of litigation over every insult, disagreement, or mistake. Political and social disagreement is important in a free society, and we obviously don't all share the same opinions or beliefs. For instance, political opponents often reach opposite conclusions from the same facts, and editorial cartoonists often exaggerate facts to make their point. What Does the Victim Need to Prove to Establish Defamation? The law of defamation varies from state to state, but there are some generally accepted rules. If you believe you are have been "defamed," to prove it you usually have to show there's been a statement that is all of the following:publishedfalseinjuriousunprivilegedLet's look at each of these defamation claim elements in detail.1.

First, the "statement" can be spoken, written, pictured, or even gestured. Because written statements last longer than spoken statements, most courts, juries, and insurance companies consider libel more harmful than slander.FEATURED LISTINGS FROM NOLOFeatured Law Firms In Toronto CHANGE LOCATIONSwipe to view more2. "Published" means that a third party heard or saw the statement -- that is, someone other than the person who made the statement or the person the statement was about. "Published" doesn't necessarily mean that the statement was printed in a book -- it just needs to have been made public through social media, television, radio, speeches, gossip, or even loud conversation.

Of course, it could also have been written in magazines, books, newspapers, leaflets, or on picket signs.3. A defamatory statement must be false -- otherwise it's not considered damaging. Even terribly mean or disparaging things are not defamatory if the shoe fits. Most opinions don't count as defamation because they can't be proved to be objectively false.

For instance, when a reviewer says, "That was the worst book I've read all year," she's not defaming the author, because the statement can't be proven to be false.4. The statement must be "injurious." Since the whole point of defamation law is to take care of injuries to reputation, those suing for defamation must show how their reputations were hurt by the false statement -- for example, the person lost work; was shunned by neighbors, friends, or family members; or was harassed by the press. Someone who already had a terrible reputation most likely won't collect much in a defamation suit.5. Finally, to qualify as a defamatory statement, the offending statement must be "unprivileged." Under some circumstances, you cannot sue someone for defamation even if they make a statement that can be proved false.

For example, witnesses who testify falsely in court or at a deposition can't be sued.

(Although witnesses who testify to something they know is false could theoretically be prosecuted for perjury.) Lawmakers have decided that in these and other situations, which are considered "privileged," free speech is so important that the speakers should not be constrained by worries that they will be sued for defamation. Lawmakers themselves also enjoy this privilege: They aren't liable for statements made in the legislative chamber or in official materials, even if they say or write things that would otherwise be defamat

This is an American Attorney. Have you got anything under Canadian Law?

You're really great a googling and posting articles again Doug Ford and the GreenOn program to whom you also falsified documentation. Did you even read the articles? 99 % of them said they were able to complete all contracted jobs in time. Looks like you were the only one to not be able to do it.

But then again, what's your excuse for taking money in 2016 and never going back. Two people filed Small Claims suits against you and won because they were in 2016 and you couldn't use your "blame the government" excuse. All you have are excuses. No real reasons.

There's a difference between the two. Google it.

Had a very large living room window installed on 23 April 2018. Henry and his team did a great job.

They called ahead to let me know when they would arrive. They were punctual, friendly, courteous, extremely clean and very professional. I was very impressed with their quality of work and attention to detail. I would highly recommend this team.

My only disappointment, though very minor, is that my window arrived with a handle broken off so I cannot open one side of my window and now require a service call. I feel that this should have noticed and fixed before the window left the shop.

The service I received from the salesman, installation department and the installers were top notch. I would highly recommend Ecolife and would use them again in the future.

You made my home better and your promises all came through!

People are not stupid they can see when reading these fake reviews we see on here! It's so easy to slander anyone these days with with no proven facts, don't worry honey you better then them!!!

I'm truly sorry Dave, but the writing smacks of you being the poster of this ludicrous story. "great employer your" the contracted version of "you are" is "you're" not "your".

The only thing true is people are not stupid and your ex-employees are winning their suits against you so they must have "proven facts". You have also lost every Small Claims suit against you too, so your victims must also have "proven facts".
